2) Will you help us?
Yes. Need an underwater housing dropped off at FedEx
or Delta Dash? Need a complete package with housing,
camera, and accessories? Want delivery and setup of a
complete underwater package in the Southern California
area? Outside of Southern California? Let’s talk. I
think you will be pleasantly surprised at the level of
service.
3) What are the costs?
Please see our price
list. Delivery and setup may be included for jobs in
Southern California.
4) Can you help us get insurance?
Yes. I can provide equipment lists and values to your
carrier or, if needed, refer you to carriers who provide
temporary insurance.
(Referral is strictly a courtesy
and we make no representation……..)
5) What generation is your Red One?
Red #2932. See price
list for current firmware. Yes, i-pins are operational.
Very cool to shoot underwater
with the Red 18-50mm’s lens data showing on LCD!
6) Do these underwater systems require assembly?
Yes. Systems are packed for transport and assembly is
required. Time and complexity will depend on system and
configuration. I may be able to assist you, especially
for local jobs.
7) Is going underwater safe for the camera?
This is a fair question; I ask it every time a rig
goes in the water. If your comfort level does not
include housing your camera for underwater work, use my
camera. Better yet, have me do everything. I can come to
your location, hand your crew a rig completely tested
and ready for shooting underwater, and, then you just
hand it back when done.
Our equipment is clean and well maintained. Everything
is tested before and after every job.
The Gates / EX 1
housing is equipped with Seal Check for pre-dive
verification and a moisture detector in case of problems
during a dive.
Our AquaVideo Red 4K Pro housing is
equipped with a vacuum test system for pre-dive
verification. (Coming soon: moisture detector for the AquaVideo housing.)
Both systems are in the water regularly. |
